okok, i'd been neglecting this little space for far too long i guess.. times to do something and updates of what happened..
well, over the hari raya period, went to KL and cameron highlands for a short holiday to relax.. parents kept wanting me to go up with them.. so i agree and i went up with them along with one of my dad's friend.. who by the way was his previous girlfriend before he married my mum.. imagine how my mum felt..
anyhow, first day in KL we went to holiday inn for spa and massage.. dad wanted to relax his body and muscle before going up to cameron highlands to walk the jungle trail.. he said that the last time he walked, he was really tired along with my mum... so my dad and i did this sea salt scrub with a milk bath and then after that, we did a aromatherapy session.. felt so clean and fresh after that.. the last time i came and did a massage was half a year ago.. haha.. anyway, in between, watched hbo, ate from the buffet bar and read the papers..
and on the second and third day, it was cameron highlands.. the drive up was pretty bad cause of the holiday jam.. and it was really crowded.. parents commented that the last time they came, it wasn't this crowded as what we saw.. but we still got to our hotel and checked in after having lunch.. the hotel was pretty cold.. it had the old log cabin kinda feel.. all the decorations inside were antique and totally matched the hotel's name.. the lakehouse.. after checking in, we went around to visit the nearby attractions.. we visited a strawberry and bee farm, saw baby goats(which sounded like a cat), looked at tea plantation from far and then went to walk at the night market.. the weather at nigth wasn't good and rained heavily.. but it did not stop us from walking and my dad's friend bought like a ton of vegetable home.. then when we got back to the hotel, we chilled by the fire place for awhile before heading to bed..

on the second day, after breakfast, my dad, my dad's friend and myself went for the jungle trail hike.. mum wasn't keen as it had been raining and she doesnt want to walk the slippery trail.. so off we went.. the climb started pretty alright.. but then when we climbed to the top of the hill, omg, even i was kinda panting and all.. cant imagine my dad and my dad's friend.. lol.. but was pretty interesting to listen to the guy who told us all the different plants and all.. kinda felt like i was back in army doing jungle trekking sia.. lol.. dad, nearly fell a couple of times and i was worried that he might slip and injure himself.. fortunately he didnt.. well, after the walk, we showered and we packed our stuff and got ready to go back to KL for our last night...

dad wanted to eat his suckling pig before driving back to spore.. so he drove to the city and we were walking around this IT mall as my dad wanted to get a SD card his new handphone.. so while walking around, my dad found this restuarant which serves his favourite suckling pig and also peking duck... so my dad being the greedy person he is, decided to have dinner there and order a suckling pig and a peking duck.. along with a vegetable, and the duck meat was fried in black pepper sauce as another dish.. after dinner, one the last day, parents went for a foot and back massage before driving back to spore in time for my lab..

its the end of the week and i already have to lab reports due in two weeks.. time flies by really quickly when you dont want it to do so....
well, practically slack for the most of the day today and tried to clear some of my lab reports and homework which was left untouched from friday.. well, thats because went out for a bbq yesterday..
it was anna's birthday yesterday.. well, we went around getting things like people doing last minute shopping.. first is was the collection of cupcakes she ordered.. had trouble finding the place at first.. but managed to get there and collected the cupcakes..
after which, we went to get drinks and also had to collect the food with her mother prepared.. luckily, her bf drove yesterday.. if not, i dont wanna think about the end result... getting the drinks was alright, but the problem came when we went to her place to collect the food.. her mum was kinda angry with her over some stuff and she did not get all the food which she was supposed to get.. ended up, we had to marinate the chicken, which was the only food her mum prepared besides cooking the potato..
after a long struggle, we finally managed to get to the bbq pit.. moved all the food stuff and bbq stuff to the pit.. set up the area and waited for her other friends to come.. started the fire as her bf had to go collect some stuff and at this point, we realised that there was very little food and also no butter for the bbq.. after setting the fire up, cooked some food and went to get some fries and also the butter for the bbq..
well, after that, things were alright for most of the time i guess.. her bf went to collect the birthday cake, while i cooked the food for her friends while she entertain her friends.. soon after, the cake came and we had some trouble with lighting the candles.. but once done, birthday song was sang and the cake was cut.. after which, the different groups split back into there different sitting areas and chit chat..
gave out the cake and then a couple of us played some silly game.. we had to finish the ice cream cake and it would hav melted if kept too long.. so we played Oh Bei Som.. the last two remaining person would play scissors paper stone to determine who ate a slice of the cake.. once the cake was settle, we played with hotdogs.. at this point of time, i already had one and a half slice of cake.. one slice was mine own, half was helping edison.. i ended up eating 6 hotdogs while the others only ate 2 at most.. we stopped to bbq some more stuff...
afterwhich, anna opened her presents and then most of her friends left.. she continued to entertain them while the boys just continued playing the food game.. this time, there was bbq honey chicken, crab sticks, wang wang biscuits, chewy bars, cream cheese and honey.. we made these funny sandwich and the loser would have to eat.. this time i was luckier.. only ate one.. but anna's bf wasnt too lucky.. he had to eat a triple layered sandwich because he was anna's bf.. lol.. poor guy la.. the triple layered sandwich was really huge sia..
went to get some more drinks and those remaining few were still on the same game.. only this time, anna and her friend were the ones making the forfeit.. there was potato with cheese, honey, crabstick and all.. chicken with green tea, honey, cheese, plum juice.. just very disgusting forfeits.. this time, i had to swallow two of those forfeit.. it was the worst forfeit i have tasted since a long long time man.. but we really had a great time... edison, anna, kenny, jonathan, lana myself and james... wah lau.. we really did have a good time.. oh ya, the biggest loser was edison.. he ate like three forfeits sia.. after that, we called it a day and we all went back home to rest our poor old sotmachs..

celebrated ling's belated birthday at newton yesterday.. was suppose to celebrate on saturday one.. but ended up we celebrated on sunday instead.. as the main guy wasnt free on saturday..
so we met up yesterday to go newton to makan.. i was kinda late in meeting them as i went to play tennis with teng yong, zong ling, ben and ash.. i guess i played alright.. didnt really have my single backhand today.. so ended up using my double backhand instead..
then i was late as the guys wanted to eat the ba chor mee.. and by the time i got home and showered and got ready, it was the meeting time already.. and i was the only one who was late.. omg.. but anyhow, i still met up with lim, kenny, lim, puay sian, brian, bert and geoff met us at newton...
was still having a slight sore throat.. could not eat much of the food we ordered.. but i just too small bites of the food.. we had, chicken wings, stingray, lala, fried oyster and fried carrot cake.. had a little of all.. but it wasnt really good for my throat.. did order a fish porridge, but it did not come... so that was dinner..
dinner was done, and we wanted to go partyworld to sing.. but ps said that he was tired so we went to lucky plaza to play pool.. which was the original play.. but when we got there, the daytona fever took over and we got stuck in the arcade till pretty late.. after which, we still went for kbox and ps left to go home to sleep cause he had to book in today...
partyworld was another crazy session.. similar to the previous one.. only difference, is that this time there was lim and there was a camera... omg.. the camera was really used to the fullest i tell you.. kenny started the photo taking.. and made brian realised that there was a camera there.. and took over the photo taking duties.. he was the only person who took the camera most of the time.. i have yet to know the number of photos which we took yesterday.. but sure was hell of a good time.. cross singing.. singing of songs we dont know.. singing of songs that we dont know the language.. taking photos after photos after photos..
taking the taxi back was another interesting thing.. lim brian and i shared a cab.. but lim did not want to take those manual cab.. he wanted to take those automatic cab... so we waited for one to appear while eating our supper.. which was pau for me and donuts for lim.. so while waiting, many manual taxis came and stop in front of us.. lim didnt want to take it but they just parked that and waited.. waited.. and waited.. but we just walked away.. and they soon left.. finally we waited for one and it was luckily a merc.. smooth smooth ride home.. shiok shiok..
