Two days after my dad's birthday.. well, on that day itself, dad was driving back from malacca after giving his presentation for my elder sis's company on a part time basis.. we had dinner at this japanese restuarant at odeon building opposite raffles hotel..
Before that, went out for a material hunting trip as well as a scouting trip for my shopping items for hongkong with lil princess vian.. it was quite an enjoyable outing.. we walked from taka to PS to OG to centrepoint... and before out happy lil scouting session, we filled out tummy with yummylicious chicken from the soup restuarant.. its like the best chicken and ginger paste which no other place can offer man.. bought a shirt but had to control over other stuff as i would be going to hongkong soon.. so must wait till go there then buy..
Dinner was kinda funny and filling too.. it was a ala carte buffet style dinner.. so we ordered quite abit of food that night.. sashimi, tempura, sushi, etc etc.. besides the usual conversation, there were the usual bimbo moments from courtesy of my lil sis.. she never fails to say something which is totally irrelevant to the topic of discussion at that moment.. but we still love u mei.. haha.. then towards the end of the dinner, the whole family took turns to laugh at my ugly photo identification.. like my IC, my driver's license, my 11B and even my sentosa card... they all commented that those photos all CMI and totally dont look like me.. haha.. which i agree too.. well, over all it was a really good family dinner which we haven had for a long long time..
After dinner, we went back home to cut this cake which my younger sis bought.. we all thought she would get a nice nice cake.. or at least a decent one.. but she went to get this junior seaseme street chocolate sponge cake.. my elder sis and i were both lost for words when we saw the cake.. but still, it was a cake and my dad had to make do with it.. haha.. took many many photos with the camera.. but they are still on the card, so i cant upload them for u guys to see.. i will try to get them uploaded soon..
